Gazipur killed in 'gunfight' drug deal with RAB
A youth was killed in a gunfight with RAB in Gazipur. RAB said, Ismail of the killed youth He was a drug dealer. Gazipur Metropolitan Police's Tongi East Police Station Officer-in-Charge M Kamal Hossain said that RAB members raided the area to get the drug on Monday night at a field in Tongi river port area of Gazipur City Corporation. He said that drug workers paid firing on them targeting the presence of law enforcers. At the time RAB members also fired counter firing. Later, the body of Narayanganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge of Faridpur was recovered from the spot and recovered the body, arms and Yaba tablets. He also said that two RAB members were slightly injured during the incident. In the morning, the body of the deceased was sent to Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
